As far as I know all parts with the exception of the movement and the strap are made by Stowa in Germany. The all brushed stainless steel case is manufactured in Germany, and finished by hand. What that means, is you can be most likely assured the company is still going to be around within the 2 year warranty period, and for many years after to assist you should you need it. While we cover many many microbrands here, and it has been debated over the years what category Stowa actually falls into, they are definitely not an upstart brand. Why is that such a big deal?
